We are looking for a seasoned Operations Manager to lead and grow our service operations in Northwestern Ontario.
Position Overview: The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of pest control operations in the Kenora region, including managing technicians, scheduling, customer satisfaction, compliance, and profitability. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on pest control experience, a strong understanding of Canadian pest management regulations, and proven leadership in multi-technician operations.
Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the pest control division, including field technicians and administrative support. Oversee scheduling, service quality, inventory control, and equipment maintenance. Ensure all work complies with provincial and federal pest control regulations. Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations for staff. Track KPIs related to service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and safety compliance. Support business development and customer relationship management. Liaise with suppliers, regulators, and company leadership on operational issues. Maintain all necessary operational records, licenses, and certifications.
Required Qualifications: Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pest control industry within Canada. Currently operating or managing a pest control branch, division, or service area. Canadian citizen and fluent in English (spoken and written). Minimum 2 years’ experience managing daily operations of a company or division with multiple technicians. Valid Structural and Core Pest Control licenses in any Canadian province (Ontario preferred). Strong understanding of IPM (Integrated Pest Management) principles and safety protocols. Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing both residential and commercial service contracts. Knowledge of provincial pesticide regulations and audit standards. Business development or sales management experience in pest control. Familiarity with scheduling software and CRM systems.
Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary $95,000 – $100,000 (based on experience). Company vehicle and fuel card. Paid licensing and professional development. Health and dental benefits. – HAS based maximum per year $4,000 In addition to salary – Performance-based bonuses: Sales – Net Earnings 2.5%, Inventory Control Budget Control – 1-2% based on budgetary success Relocation assistance (for the right candidate).
