Certified IPM Technician

Empower Your Entry-Level Employees

Do you require your employees to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments? Are customers asking how you apply pesticides and use environmentally sustainable practices? In today’s increasingly complex and highly-specialized job market, credentials are important. Demonstrate your commitment to integrated pest management by getting credentialed.

Pest management professionals have a new opportunity to jumpstart their careers through the Certified Integrated Pest Management Technician credential from the Entomological Society of America Certification Corporation.

Designed for professionals with less than five years’ experience in pest management, the Certified IPM Technician (CIT) credential demonstrates a foundational skillset and commitment to the principles and practices of integrated pest management (IPM). To receive the credential, candidates must pass an online exam on integrated pest management. Applications for the credential are now being accepted.
