Welcome to the Structural Pest Management Association of Ontario

About Us
The SPMAO is the largest and oldest professional Structural Pest Management industry Association in Ontario.  We are a non-profit organization with a volunteer Board of Directors made up of representatives from member businesses.  We represent over 130 responsible and professionally-licensed companies that protect the health and safety of the citizens of Ontario through the provision of their services.

Our members make a vital contribution to the health and welfare of Ontarians by protecting food stocks in warehouses and grocery stores.  We protect health care and educational facilities, residential dwellings, hotels, restaurants and food processing plants from insects and rodents that may be disease vectors, cause structural damage to homes and buildings and threats to human health.

What We Do
As advocates for our industry, SPMAO provides our members with a strong voice.  At a time when the broader community and governments are insisting on stricter health and safety standards and expecting environmentally-responsible treatment methods, our members need strong and effective representation to ensure that we contribute proactively to these demands AND protect the interests of our members.

We provide our members educational and training opportunities to assist them in attaining their professional licenses and to stay current with today’s best practices.  Our annual conference and regional workshops educate our members with topical speakers and access to industry leaders and suppliers.  We also host licensing training programs that are not otherwise available to those who wish to join our industry.
